They have attempted to contact Google Maps but always got the "blurring is permanent" replies. the new owners are just as puzzled as us. The funny thing is that the people of those 2 house moved away more than 6 years ago. however, once again, our street got skipped over and we got stuck with the old 2006/2007 street view images with those 2 houses blurred. it was easy to tell because the newer photos show two new stop signs that were installed in August 2020. All 4 adjacent streets were updated with the latest images. In fact, the Google car showed up sometime last summer. (confirmed by new, updated Street Views of adjacent streets every once in a while) however, they got to the beginning or the end of the street and just turned around. We've seen Google's car in the area at least 3 or 4 time since then. after that, the street view on the entire street has been deliberately skipped by Google's picture-taking car for 14 years. Two houses on my street were blurred in 2006/2007. Hate speech of any kind will not be tolerated, and will result in a ban on the first offense. NO SPAM! This includes promoting businesses through Google Maps links.Ħ. Any screenshot must include a link to the location in Google Maps or list coordinates in the comments.ĥ.
